The Axel’s Adventures comic series was created to bring a lighthearted, relatable way of educating employees during the pandemic. Each episode followed Axel and his officemates as they navigated health protocols, work-from-home routines, and the quirks of the “new normal.” The goal was to deliver important reminders through humor, storytelling, and playful visual design.
The illustrations were designed to feel warm, friendly, and approachable—making the content easy to understand and enjoyable to follow. The scenes, expressions, and color palette were tailored to keep the tone upbeat while supporting Accenture’s internal communication needs.
My role focused on designing the characters, illustrating each panel, and crafting visuals that balanced fun storytelling with clear, informative messaging. The final series delivered both entertainment and guidance, giving employees a dose of humor while helping them adapt to a rapidly changing workplace.
